About Mrs. Kirsch...I graduated from Colgate University, with a major in Political Science and Spanish, and then received my Masters in Elementary Education from National-Louis University. Following my graduate studies, I taught second grade for three years in Champaign, IL and third grade for a little over four years in Glencoe, IL. This is my 7th year teaching 4th grade at Pleasant Ridge, and I consider myself fortunate to be among such a dedicated faculty, wonderful students, and warm & caring parents.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my husband, Bryan, and three children. Together we love playing soccer, having dance parties, swimming, going to the park, playing board games, cooking, reading, and above all else....laughing! As a parent and an educator, I have a passion for teaching and learning. My goal is to provide a safe and positive learning environment where ideas are encouraged and everyone feels empowered to become a life-long learner. |
